We were doing a TV show and were invited to a teen conference with teens from all over the world.Two Greek Men ask me if they could talk to me.They had received monies for PSA's to help stop the teen drinking.They wanted me to fly to Greece and produce 12 TV dance shows on a yacht.I asked what music the kids listen to.He said Blondie and named all this music that was 10 years old:)I said no to the production,I didn't want to leave my kids for 6 weeks.That's my Blondie story :)

I was in the south of France and was going to hike Mt Toulon with this greek American shipmate of mine... 7AM we find a greek wedding and we are doing shots, breaking plates..

I said Mike, we got to go.

That’s my greek story.(well there are others..)

My friend Gus had a great place called Western Steak Burger.
He was Greek, his wife Maria was from Spain..

The Western Steak Burger was 1/4 Lb Beef patty topped with 1/4 Lb Gryo meat, Maria was in charge of roistering the chickens.

Gus would say...”you know..you looka just like Boot Lancaster”

That's funny MY:) My 2 Greek men showed up at our TV studio the next night.Their English was very poor.I had told them they could come to my Birthday Party.They thought we were taping a TV show.So they sat there smoking their cigs and drinking their beer and my Priest friend shows up.They go Holy S*** and put out the cigs and threw the beers away.It was so funny.

Mikes Greek and other shipmates Spanish/French got us through the Med east peasy lemon squeezy

Funny how languages match up.I had a Friend who could speak Italian,Spanish,Latin and English.He could understand and speak a little Portuguese and other languages.He tried to teach me but I talk Philly and was a lost cause.
