Cohen did not write a check out of campaign funds.
The accusation was that a Ukraine citizen wrote a similar size check to Cohen. Mueller is looking for anything to charge Cohen with so he can go after Trump by attacking those around him. Remember, a single less than accurate statement to a DOJ/FBI examiner is a felony. If you told them it was night and it was day, you can be charged with a felony. THAT is how the system works. This is weaponization of the Federal Legal System. It has been this way a long time, but Obama made it this lethal.
Cohen reportedly said he took a loan on his home and paid the 130,000 hush money from that loan. The assumption? Not being truthful about the purpose for a loan is a felony crime. Yes, that is what Mueller is looking for.
Mueller is protecting his deep state traitors in the DOJ and FBI. He is in rage about the top FBI being exposed for their crimes with the FISA warrant abuses. And their use of the NSA database to attack candidate Trump with known phony documents paid for by the Hillary Campaign.
Top to bottom they must be exposed and will.
But Mueller is trying to hang anything he can on anyone connected to Trump to diffuse the damning wave that is coming.
This is just the tip of the iceberg.

Everything hinges on this claim.
If Cohen didn't visit Prague, the Steele dossier and pretty much the entire collusion case is obliterated.
On the other hand... If Cohen did visit Prague in 2016... Well... Let's just hope he didn't.
I did read that earlier...I wonder what the judge might do - she was an appointee of Reagan and Clinton tried to get her as AG when she backed out and we got Janet Reno as a result... Hopefully she’ll have more of RR in her veins than Clinton...
Again, I’ll say - SUPPOSEDLY - according to what I’ve READ - Cohen only has Trump as a client and there is no client list to get. The judge may have no choice in her decision based on this. If true, there weren’t any client records to be revealed so no harm, no foul?

But I do appreciate your post on this issue - it helps to have more eyes on the issue and Lord help us if it IS only the tip of the iceberg....
It is the tip of the iceberg. The real issue has nothing to do with Cohen. It is illegal FISA database use while compiling the Fusion GPS “Steele Dossier”.
This is where the connection with Cohen and Prague took place. It is evidence of the bigger crime.

Evidence of this laundry process is found in a significant “search query” result that was actually a mistake. The faulty intelligence mistake was the travel history of Michael Cohen, a long-time Trump lawyer. The FISA search turned up a Michael Cohen traveling to Prague. It was the wrong Michael Cohen. However, that mistaken result was passed on to Chris Steele and it made its way into the dossier. Absent of a FISA search, there’s no other way Christopher Steele could identify a mistaken “Michael Cohen” traveling to Prague from the Russian sources he claimed to have used for that specific point.
The Cohen mistake created a trail from Chris Steele to the FISA database.

Now the raid? It is about finding anything to prosecute Cohen for that will allow this scam to continue.
Cohen possibly could have lied to Mueller’s investigators about where the funds came from. Lying to the FBI is a crime. No matter how small the lie is.
Of course on the other hand, the FBI lying to you is not.
Nothing Mueller can do will prevent the disaster pending for the DOJ, FBI, DOS and some other alphabet agencies. A lot of high level careers are about to hit the wall.
It requires some people to be severely punished. Fired at least, if not prosecuted. It was a deliberate misuse of a supposedly non political agency to meddle in politics.
I remember him correcting Obama when Obama said "My Muslim faith." I thought at the instant he did so that he was a manipulating bastard who should have instead said, "What do you mean your Muslim faith? I thought you were supposed to be a Christian?"
He gave Obama cover instead of treating him as he would have a Republican.
Till we have people like Rush Limbaugh or Mark Steyn as News Anchors on the national networks, we have a problem with bias.
He behaves as a man that can prove he didn't. I'll bet they have absolutely no evidence that he did, and therefore have relied on a claim by some unnamed source which will also not be able to prove it.
If they can't prove it, and his passport shows no evidence of it, it just becomes hearsay, and this demolishes the foundation upon which their warrant was based.
