“Eid also said he would tell Trump, that he “proved once again, yesterday, that you have a big heart. At least a lot more bigger than Obama because you actually tried to do something...”

On Cnn? How does this fit The Narrative?

Syria used to make beer, wouldn't be my first choice for an import though.

I’ll be damned. I love the chilled glasses-—makes me thirsty.

I’ve known a few Syrians(2nd and 3rd generation) and they are all Christians.

“And CNN printed it?! Will wonders never cease?”

It is on the weekend. They figure very few people will see it.

CNN actually showed someone, PRAISE TRUMP..did they demand people who viewed it get immediate electro shock therapy so they don’t remember someone actually praising President Trump

Kassam Eid is a Palistinian human rights activist who was in Syria to topple Assad.

Trust him if you want to but he's part of the puppet show.

Syrian buying the President a beer. Another case of collusion.

CNN is thrilled that Trump bombed Syria. They would be even happier if it continued and we invaded en masse.

Thrilled with the idea that its somewhat secular dictator could be replaced by a Sharia-jihadist rule.

It got printed because they’re trying to pretend that there was chemical weapons use by Assad at some point, when the reality is that every such claim was a false flag by Western intelligence services just as this past claim was.

I’ll take his puppet show. The average American doesn’t know who he is, they’re going to read, or hear, a grateful chem attack survivor giving props to the Pres and the USA. And if Eid has a good reputation amongst the Palis, his statement is worth its weight in gold for PR value. Both work to Trump’s advantage.

Syria has it's own David Hogg. Looking at some of the other comments, seems the Neo's forget that CNN is one of theirs.

Kassam Eid is a Palistinian human rights activist who was in Syria to topple Assad.

That is also a twist of the truth: Eid was born in Syrian to Palestinian parents, and considers Syria to be his home country. (His book is even titled "My Country".)

I can't blame him for wanting Assad gone -- the problem is how to end up with an Egypt type solution (el-Sisi) instead of Libya (chaos) or Iraq -- granted that Iraq could have come out much better if we had handled things differently.

Eid has his agenda, and your posting history clearly shows yours.

Kassem Eid, who told CNN's Ana Cabrera he lived under two years of siege and bombardment by the Syrian government, said he was glad the President has attempted to do something for the Syrian people. "I just want to tell Mr. Trump directly: I'm a Syrian refugee who survived chemical weapons attacks, who lived under two years of siege and bombardment by the government," Eid said. "I would love to, like, buy you a beer, and just sit in front of you and tell you how bad it is in Syria." Eid also said he would tell Trump, that he "proved once again, yesterday, that you have a big heart. At least a lot more bigger than Obama because you actually tried to do something..."
Thanks blueplum.

CNN = FAKE NEWS

This is just the warmongers encouraging President Trump to go to full war in Syria.

The Globalist want war in Syria. The Nationalist do not.

President Trump is taking the middle road by striking the chemical weapons only that were launched by McCains Jihadists and NOT Assad.

This is why Russia did not counter attack.

The strikes were most likely coordinated between U.S., Russian and Syrian military. I may be wrong, but that is my guess.

President Trump has been strongly against a war in Syria. By doing this he scares the North Koreans and Iran. He hits the false flagers and silences the Trump is a Russian crowd.

What we see on TV is kabuki theater. Certainly with the Sunday morning talk show panels. They are nothing more than a bunch of irrelevant pseudo intellectual want to be politicians and generals that are almost 100% of the time getting it wrong. Don’t waste your time we these con schmucks. Again it’s nothing more than kabuki theater by irrelevant so called “journalists”.

A cockroach at the bottom of the sea is higher than these scum on TV.

Sounds like you're a big fan of his...good luck with that.

Trump has stated publically and privately that he wants our guys and gals back (figuratively, in time for turkey dinner). With ISIS 90% dead, he has said it's time for the other middle-east nations to take roles in keeping ISIS eliminated, and in pressuring Assad. I trust he still means it. But, he also has to deal with people like Votel, who has a long-view, and people like Haley, who tends to overstep a bit. And, of course, Russia. So he has to posture strategically.

What it is boiling down to is, Iran, Turkey and Russia are all making plays in Syria. Iranian bases in Syria puts Iraq in a squeezehold, and extends Iran's reach to the Mediterranean. That is a problem. But it's Russia that has more influence with Iran than the US does.
Russia wants the ports. They may not care what happens to the interior of Syria and may tend to ignore Iranian expansion including forward military bases. But eventually Iran will make the move to push Russia out. So Russian inaction is a problem for the US, for Iraq and for surrounding allies.

So we need to work with Russia, since they are 'invited guests' of Syria and we're not. You might have noticed for the second time, Russia turned off their missile defense in Syria. Assad using chem weapons puts Russia on the hotseat, since they guaranteed, back in 2013, and again last year, that they would ensure Assad rid himself of them. Assad has embarrassed Putin, twice. Which brings us to using this latest attack as hard leverage on Russia (and an excuse for Russia to) not only to put a shock collar on Assad, but to isolate Iran's expansion. If we now say publically that we are pulling out "in months", Russia has no incentive to act in any direction, and by the time they do act, they and we, will be at a severe disadvantage.
