They are going to destroy inventory they paid millions of dollars for? I should think they would be able to sell it to a liquidator, but they don’t want the public to know that.
I suspect someone will be announcing a “liquidation” sale soon.

The cost of the inventory being destroyed will be passed through to all the other customers via higher prices. Don’t shop there for anything.
