because the waste, fraud, and abuse of revenue along with redundant agencies and programs represent such a miniscule part of the problem.

The beauty of baseline budgets is that 80% of the spending is never looked at and never questioned.

He is a tad bit better then McConnell who can’t control the GOP Senators at all. They even make him a fool by changing votes on the floor. lol.

You know I think they really believe the blather about illegals contributing to the system. That’s why they’ve turned a blind eye to illegal immigration. They’ve been proven wrong time and time again but the Dems have used the mantra so long the stupid Republicans believe it. And that they’ll vote Republican! Hahahahaha

It’s not inevitable because of baby boomers.

It’s because of obamacare, auto 6% budget increases, and because of 300 billion a year in nothing but interest payments on the debt.

Interest: 300B

Ocare: 110B

6% increase: 240B

Total: 650B

Now, subtract that from 1.1 trillion and see how necessary trillion dollar budgets are due to retirees.

It’s due to overspending congress.

***
Interest on the Debt: Interest payments on the national debt are not officially part of the mandatory budget, but the payments must be made. The budget office estimates it will be $310 billion in FY 2018. It’s $50 billion more than 2017 because both the national debt and interest rates are rising.

Trillion dollar deficits happen when we elect Democrats in R jerseys.

I completely agree about Kevin McCarthy.

When House Majority Leader Eric Cantor shockingly lost his primary in 2014 to a Republican immigration hawk, the GOP Congressional Caucus immediately gave Cantor’s old job to McCarthy.

McCarthy was - and still is - an immigration dove with a terrible voting record on immigration!

“I do personal finance counseling and I meet people all the time who thing they can borrow their way completely out of debt. It’s delusional but shows what a poor job parents and the public schools have done ————”

What on earth do public schools have to do with this debt?

What are private schools doing to avoid it?

Looing forward to your reply.

So if Baby Boomers are retiring and their are less well paid workers to pay for it, how is spending even more $$$ a good thing?
I know, lets bring more unskilled workers into the country.

Somehow, no one has ever said that to Ryan or any of the financial midgets running our Gov.

Four ways to save a trillion dollars:

Replace the system of government indoctrination camps, euphemistically called public schools, with refundable tax credits so that all parents can send their daughters and sons to private schools.

Stop spending hundreds of billions of dollars on replacing one Islamic regime with another Islamic regime.

Stop sending cash to ******** countries as though this country had cash to spare.

Secure the border so that drugs stop being brought across it.

The majority of children are public school educated. These schools teach personal finance poorly or not at all. Parents are ultimately responsible but they too have been sold a twisted view debt. The smaller number of people I see who private or homeschool are much more fiscally responsible. Their problems are more often due to circumstances beyond their control rather than irresponsible borrowing and spending. Do you think Congress would be so irresponsible if the public’s mindset toward debt was different?
