Why are Democrats lucky? Well, first of all, they have their faithful minion, Robert Mueller, trying desperately to do what they were unable to do themselves, which would be to reverse the results of the last election.
Granted, the ostensible excuse they have for loosing Mueller's "dogs of war" against President Trump is the search for a smoking gun to prove that Hillary Clinton's loss of the 2016 election was the result on her being ganged up on by Trump and the entire Russian Republic.
Of course, during the energetic turning over of every rock looking for such proof, Mr. Mueller has consistently come up empty-handed. No evidence of any such collusion. This lack of evidence even started before the election, thanks to those in the FBI and DOJ who started turning over rocks as soon as they received the unsubstantiated insinuations in the Trump "dossier." Most normal people would at this point say to themselves, "Well, without any evidence, I guess nothing was done improperly." Now, this is the point where Democrats are very, very lucky.
Democrats, fortunately for them, are obviously not normal people. Normal people can believe in things they cannot see. Democrats can't. Look how many Democrats, liberals, Progressives refuse to admit that God actually exists. But they leap with the faith of the recently converted to the belief that Donald Trump must have done something wrong. There has to be some evidence to be discovered that will allow them to impeach (the properly elected) President Donald Trump.

The Rats great strength at least in the short term is not having to stay within any ethnical constants. They are immune to charges of hypocrisy, they NEVER recuse, they enjoy a massive legal double standard, the MSM provides an almost impenetrable shield and they have impotent opposition that holds their own base in contempt. Is it any wonder we’re at the precipice?
Most Democrats are aware of the cannibalism of the Totalitarian State but most believe that they will be in that top echelon which is spared the basement judgements and the camps. The top echelon becomes one man. There is a very very limited number of people who can be that one man. Each believes that somehow he will be that one man
It would be better to refer to Demonicrats, following their trial and conviction, as "one-time rope testers."
And the more intolerant the democrats become the more they brag about being tolerant and inclusive.
The more the democrats brag about being tolerant and inclusive the more narrow minded and exclusive they become.
The more more narrow minded and exclusive the democrats become the more they brag about their embrace of diversity.
That is the whole point.

Luck has nothing to do with it - ‘rats crave power the way normal people crave oxygen, and are determined and relentless in doing anything to get it - while Republicans are chewing each other up about just how much of a deficit is too large and why the president shouldn’t say bad things about his opponents, lefties are lying, threatening and fault-finding those who don’t agree with them on the way to securing any political advantage they can.....
It’s easy to win when you have no opposition.
