...Ellingsen and Daniels determined: “The data Trump cited ... simply don’t support his claims that a ‘vast majority’ of individuals on the list came from outside the United States
—unless, that is, you include individuals who were forcibly brought to the United States in order to be prosecuted and exclude all domestic terrorism cases."

There's a lot of technical wrangling here. Wouldn't terrorists 'forcibly brought" to the US more likely be foreign born? Could domestic terrorist acts be instigated and aided from outside the country? Could domestic terror be committed by foreign-born citizens or residents? How do you decided whether terrorist acts are domestic or international? Indeed, what makes a crime terrorism in the first place? For example, is a high school bomb threat a terrorist act or a prank?

At the Bundy trial ‘domestic terrorists’ were charged for setting a backfire to protect their ranch that reached onto adjoining Fed property. Meanwhile the Ft. Hood shooting by a Muslim terrorist was labeled as ‘workplace violence’ by Obama. THAT’s why Trump likely ignored the politicized definition of ‘terrorist’ to accent American ‘terrorists’.
