Rand Paul: Syrian Chemical Attack A False Flag
Either that or Assad is ‘dumbest dictator on the planet,’ he says

The chemical attack allegedly perpetrated by the Syrian government is most likely a false flag, according to Senator Rand Paul (R-KY).

When asked by CNN’s Wolf Blitzer if stalling Russian sanctions was the right move for Trump, Paul directed the topic to whether or not the chemical attack in Syria was even genuine.

“I think before you talk about sanctions, we oughta talk about what evidence is there that Russia was complicit in this attack,” Paul said on Monday.

“In fact, for that matter, I still look at the attack and say Assad either must be the dumbest dictator on the planet or maybe he didn’t do it. I have yet to see evidence that he did do it. The intelligence agencies claim they have that evidence. But think about it: does it make any sense?”

“He’s been winning the war for the last couple of years,” he continued. “The only thing that would galvanize the world to attack Assad directly is a chemical attack. It killed relatively few people compared to what can be killed with traditional bombs, traditional machine guns, traditional tanks. And so you wonder, what logic would there be for Assad to be using chemical weapons?

“So before we get to the Russians, we have to first determine that Syria was implicated, and then we outta determine what the connection is between Russia and Syria on this attack.”

I like Rand, but this is why he flounders as a presidential candidate. Did he ask himself why Syria didn’t allow others into the area if it was a false flag? Syria is at civil war for a reason afterall, and its not because Assad is some boy scout

Rand Paul is correct. Both the Independent and OAN have reporters on scene being told by doctors and locals no gas attack occurred. Trump got played. That is likely why he was tweeting on Sunday about getting congressional permission to go into Syria. He’s wising up.

So he doesn’t actually have proof of it.

I don’t always agree with Senator Paul, but he has a good point about whether Assad launched the Chemical attack. I agree with him that we need to see the evidence. Until then. I will be very skeptical that Syria was responsible for this. My feeling is that the whole thing was staged by his opposition.

What are you talking about, there have been journalists in Douma for a couple of days poking around and interviewing witnesses.

Smart move too, as it preempts the likes of Boris Johnson and Nikki Haley from lying their butts off about the situation.

Another schmuck from Kentucky. I make it three now. Two worthless Senators and this dweeb Massie. You guys have something in your water that prompts you to vote for worthless dumb$hits who delight in hampering President Trump’s progress as much as they are able.

"and its not because Assad is some boy scout"

The Russian's didn't turn on their S-400 system as to not give us an intel treasure trove, and rumors are Assad and the Ruskies cleaned up ( terrorist ) after our attack. So did they know and look the other way and was Assad in on it given there are what 8 different factions of bad guys? What if these bad actors we so bad even Assad didn't want them. And then Israel went in and bitch-slapped the Iranians their after us. Sounds like a lot of clean up to me. This looks real coordinated. Does Assad get that he might be better off without Israel 365/24/7 in a war footing pointing towards him, if he gets the bad actors out and maybe piece together his country.

Good reason to keep Rand out of the House Intelligence Committee.

"US govt killed children at Waco and Syria never attacked us for it."

Those killings were committed by Bill Clinton and Janet Reno, so it was OK with the MSM.

Don't be a sniveling retard. Rand Paul has had President Trump's back more than any other Senator. He's just not afraid to call out the truth when he sees it.

We need 99 more just like Senator Paul, the only guy in Washington DC who's bothered reading the Constitution.

If we bombed a chemical weapons R&D, and a storage site, and didn’t kill any innocents, I don’t have a problem with it.

Preach it, brother! Rand has had Trump's back while not being afraid to call out crappola when he sees crappola since Trump was inaugurated.

Further, he is part of the Freedom Caucus, that is the only, and I mean ONLY, part of the GOP that is fighting to get Uranium One, Strok (sp) and the insurance policy, etc. exposed.

You think the creeps Assad are fighting are good little kids?

Both sides stink. But I’d rather live under Assad than under “rebels.”
