Rand Paul: Syrian Chemical Attack A False Flag
Either that or Assad is ‘dumbest dictator on the planet,’ he says

The chemical attack allegedly perpetrated by the Syrian government is most likely a false flag, according to Senator Rand Paul (R-KY).

When asked by CNN’s Wolf Blitzer if stalling Russian sanctions was the right move for Trump, Paul directed the topic to whether or not the chemical attack in Syria was even genuine.

“I think before you talk about sanctions, we oughta talk about what evidence is there that Russia was complicit in this attack,” Paul said on Monday.

“In fact, for that matter, I still look at the attack and say Assad either must be the dumbest dictator on the planet or maybe he didn’t do it. I have yet to see evidence that he did do it. The intelligence agencies claim they have that evidence. But think about it: does it make any sense?”

“He’s been winning the war for the last couple of years,” he continued. “The only thing that would galvanize the world to attack Assad directly is a chemical attack. It killed relatively few people compared to what can be killed with traditional bombs, traditional machine guns, traditional tanks. And so you wonder, what logic would there be for Assad to be using chemical weapons?

“So before we get to the Russians, we have to first determine that Syria was implicated, and then we outta determine what the connection is between Russia and Syria on this attack.”

Oh, I’ve been posting that around here for probably a year, and I am told it is somehow different. One person basically posted that the Davidians deserved it. What do we conclude from that mentality? That we have people who claim to be Patriots, who are willing to commit murder on behalf of the state. I thought we fought the revolutionary war over this kind of Tory thinking. We have our own Tories right here. How many members of our military would pull a trigger to disarm gun owners? The answer was not reassuring the last survey I read. One reason I am completely against offering military service to illegals in exchange for immigration privileges.

He’s missing the point. It doesn’t matter whether it is a false flag or not. It is a message to Assad and to Iran: we are the superpower, not Russia.

It’s so obvious.
Of course it’s about oil, chaining the bear, and saving the declining US petro dollar reserve currency that’s threatened by a gold backed petro yuan.

Everyone knows this:
Qatar and Saudi Arabia have long wanted a piece of the EU energy market that Russia owns.
The US, Nato powers, Saudi Arabia & Qatar sought destabilizing the Middle East as a means of creative destruction.

Syria’s Assad obstructed the Qatar-SA EU pipeline in order to not piss off Ivan, his long time buddy and body guard.

Chemical attacks, chasing ISIS (that we made) is all theatre to eventually wear down Assad “the Terrible” for our Sunni friends Saudi Arabia and Qatar to get their EU pipeline thru Syria.

America spends blood & treasure to support radical Islam that threatens the very existence of western civilization.

The flag chases the dollar
The soldier chases the flag

That’s all that matters to the ones really running things.

So since “all 17 intelligence agencies” agree, it must be true that Russia “meddled” in our 2016 Presidential election?

I like Rand, but this is why he flounders as a presidential candidate. Did he ask himself why Syria didn’t allow others into the area if it was a false flag? Syria is at civil war for a reason afterall, and its not because Assad is some boy scout

Who the hell cares what they do to each other? It's not our fight. The fewer saracens we have to worry about the better.

I don’t doubt that the various US intel agencies can be controlled by swamp dwellers - the political appointees.

However, are you suggesting that all the European and Sunni intelligence agencies are under the thumb of the US swamp rats???

Syria is in civil war because the Obama White House created and supported fanatic insurgents throughout the country.

Did he ask himself why Syria didn’t allow others into the area if it was a false flag?

It makes sense for Assad to deny the perpetrators of the Ghouta and Khan Sheikoun false-flags any chance of piggybacking the OPCW and contaminating the crime scene.

After all - if forensic evidence were actually important to these people, then they would have waited for that evidence before launching 105 missiles at a sovereign nation.

Good for Rand Paul.
