This investigative report is amazing out of Syria.

You see the former ISIS headquarters, Al Nussra and the so call "White Helmets" all within 2 yards of each other's headquarters and the same black flag.

It's the same guys with different names to confuse the public.

Careful, you might upset the true believers here. They’re a bit touchy when it comes to mentioning the possibility of a false flag operation. They believe the white helmets are white hats,

Most of them are probably paid trolls that have hacked into old inactive Freeper accounts from what I have gathered.

I have wondered about that since late 2016.

There is probably no legal way to prove - or disprove - that hypothesis, so I have avoided the subject.

You nailed the timing!

That’s when I first noticed it.

You could go into the accounts of the old Freepers that had not posted in years, and all of a sudden they are posting 30 times or more a day too. You can even see a different way they are responding compared to how they responded years ago.

In other words it was an adult years ago and today comes across as a twenty something year old.

I had been wondering the past few years how and why the political climate on FreeRep was changing. You may have hit on something Jim has no way to control or know for sure.

Syria is a place where the west pretty much, outside of the Kurds, does not have any “white hats” there. You have the “Syrian opposition” which in spite of a very minority representation by secularists, is very much majority Islamist with the vast majority of the fighting “brigades” Islamist. Then you have Assad, whose giving a great deal of revenue lately to ISIS, buying Syrian oil in control by ISIS. And today we learn that the Kurds in Syria recently captured on of the 9/11 masterminds. He is a man with dual German-Syrian citizenship who made it out of Germany before our intelligence trail got to him. He wound up in Syria, and at the time Assad, wanting no trouble from him put him in prison. In 2013 (after the “Syrian opposition” kicks up, Assad let him out of prison, whereupon he joined ISIS in Syria. Now he’s been captured by our Kurdish friends in Syria.

So, with no “white hats” in Syria besides the Kurds, why should we believe either Assad or the “white helmets”? I think we really can’t believe either one.

The hacking would be difficult to prove. in the time I've been here (17 years), i've seen freepers leave but few return.

I haven't noticed any re-activated accounts, but then I haven't been looking. It's very possible what you state

I’ve noticed that too....some left field posting and you check and see they have been here for long time and it doesn’t quite compute...

I’ve read where they can figure out different writers based on their writing style and use of words. (One of the ways they figured out obama’s book was ghost written.)

I find myself writing posts in much the same style.
