Nope. A pardon means it never happened.

Nope, a pardon means that the President, or governor as the case may be, forgives the crime and waives any remaining penalty for it. If it means the conviction never happened then there are no Fifth Amendment protections and a person could be tried again for the same offense. But a person who has been pardoned cannot be tried again because they were already convicted for the crime.
