I spent many cold days and nights at the “Rock” and “Graf” at the tail end of the Cold War. It brings back so many memories.

Sounds like your day was pretty darn good, especially that yummy breakfast. I just finished supper and you made me hungry again. LOL
It was grocery shopping day here. Fun, fun.

Sounds like y’all have been knocking it out the past week, and she’s kept busy while you’ve worked the past three days.
I imagine the time’s gone by fast while she’s been here.

Howdy, radu!
Hope it stayed warm for you today! ....and drier so the wheat will have a chance to ripen properly!
It was cooler here, but it was welcome. I even sat outside for a bit this evening. However, when the sun went down, it was a bit too cool...especially since I was barefoot. LOL!

Warm, dry, and windy today but rain showers are moving in with another cold front. Could get frost tomorrow night. :-(
But at the moment it’s still pretty comfy outside. But not comfy enough for bare feet. :-)

The gorebull warming crowd must be freaking out over the lack thereof! LOL! I’ve never seen winter last so long in so many places and never come to others like ours.
I’m still cleaning closets. I had way too many work clothes and well....since I don’t work, I don’t need them. Still trying to decide where to donate them, though.

Ooooooo.....now I’m jealous! That looks so good! Sounds like you and Peg are having a great time together.
Sounds like you have the same problem that we do....so much dust and so little rain. I hope we both get some before long.

It’s all the glo-bull warming crowd’s fault! Mother Nature’s going all out to prove them wrong! LOL
She’s made her point now and it’s time to let a little warmth move on in.
Is there a veterans’ group-run thrift store in your area? That would be a good place to donate the clothes.
Or Salvation Army? Money they make stays local and they do a lot of good things to help people. I’ve been a bell ringer for them and have had people come up and tell me how they were helped when life kicked them down.

As long as you aren’t dealing with freezing temps, some rain would be nice. Just don’t nice icy roads again.
Oooooo, YUM!! Blizzards! It’s been a while since I’ve had one. Craving one now and DQ is long closed for the night. LOL
