They justify their high tax and spend policies because they FEAR what those poor people might do to them in the future

Here's a thought. For just ONE election cycle we on the right should plunk ALL of our votes on the biggest spread-the-wealth Socialists we can find. Our votes + those minorities would surely put them over the top.

Then watch the elite Left FREAK OUT because they've just gotten what they claimed they always wanted.

I can dream about that anyway.

In places like SF or NY, there are two problems with your suggestion:

• There aren't enough people on the right to move the electorate more than a few points
• The Socialists that we would elect are mostly members of the "elite Left" of whom you speak.

It's sort of like mud wrestling with a pig. You both get dirty and the pig likes it!
