As we’ve seen here in Pennsylvania, oil prices and gas prices are inversely proportional; oil goes down, taxes (prices at the pump) go up. Current state tax per gallon of gasoline, 58.2 cents per gallon.

They raised the gas prices in PA because they are a poorly run state and the roads are an abomination. The absolute worst road being the PA Turnpike. Someone should be imprisoned for making people pay to drive on that ruble strewn pathway.

They have been so bad and so poorly run for so long that the legislature compelled the nominally Republican governor to raise pump taxes to some of the highest prices in the country in order to give Pendot more money for increased inefficiencies and graft.

Inverse proportionality implies that when prices go UP, taxes go DOWN. Somehow I bet that isn't true.
