I was told by a Syrian source that I totally trust that Iran hanged 10,000 people last year.
I came to reading news on Twitter in 2009 during the #IranElection phase. I know for a fact they arrested thousands of young people using cell phones exposing what was happening in Iran at that time.
My Tweets and contacts are still in my timeline from then. It is very sobering to see the number that are grayed out (no longer active).
More than likely 1/2 of those young people who were arrested were never seen again.
In my opinion, there are 2 great centers of evil in the Middle East. Turkey and Iran. (Yes, I know about SA)
The Federalist is not a foreign source. (I have no issue with foreign sources, I know several that are head and shoulders better than most US sources)
The author? I don’t know him. What he said is credible to me. Evidently the EU felt the same way.
Mass executions? Should never happen in this day and time. But they do.
I have seen many reports of ISIS women tried in Iraq and sentenced to death. And quickly executed. I don’t defend ISIS, but I’ve been told that recent increase of Iranian influence in Iraq is the reason that dozens of these have taken place.
I understand the Sunni vs Shia forever battle but Iran should have been pummeled a long time ago. A world without Iran’s oppressive leaders would be a good thing. There is a reason why Obama ignored Iran’s Green Revolution, handed them billions with a nod and wink to their nuclear ambitions.
