NOW WATCHING MY GRANDKIDS GROW UP FAR AWAY FROM CALIF. AND OTHER PLACES FAR WORSE THAN MAINE.
mAINE, NOT BEING A GO-THRU STATE, TUCKED UP INTO CANADA AND ON THE OCEAN, ALONG WITH IT’S WINTERS PEOPLE ARE AFRAID OF (MAY IT REMAIN SO) HAS ESCAPED A LOT OF THE ROT...BUT IT’S A BATTLE.
WE RETAIN A LOT OF OUR GOOD, SOLID ‘ROOT-STOCK’ THAT FIRST SETTLED UP HERE HUNDREDS OF YEARS AGO - WE DON’T SUFFER FOOLS GLADLY.

I’ve been through Bangor during a big snowstorm. Two feet of of snow fell in one night. People driving off the road all over. It was nice countryside there though.
I was driving from Nova Scotia back to my base in Winnipeg, and it was faster to head through US than to drive in the communist east Canada heh.
My son in law was on loan to the Royal Canadian Air Force as an instructor for the Orions at the Nova Scotia Base (He flew P3’s for the US Navy.
they LOVED Nova Scotia and the people. It’s their second favourite place to live - after Maine. I loved it also, AND PEI..
He then went on to end his last 10 yrs (just now finished his 20) in the Coast Guard, flying the C-130 - Kodiak. They love Kodiak too..it’s more like Maine than Alaska (So do I ahahah - great salmon fishing. “Hey bear. Yo bear”)
He’s now in training with Southwest...

That is the point.
When they introduce the law they tell any lie to get it passed.
Once the law is in effect they do what they want.
When they introduced the law they said opt out was ok in order to get the law passed.
Now that the law is in effect, they say they can do whatever they want.
It is the school district administration saying that students can not opt out.
