He’s a Ward 8 guy....all southeast section of DC. Around 82,000 people in the Ward....mostly women (I seem to remember it being near 60-percent). Roughly one-third of the District lives in poverty, and they had a big issue when I was there (2010-2013) in the Arlington region....the last grocery store had up and closed in the district, and they couldn’t convince anyone to move in.
What would you expect from a city council who allowed convicted felon, the former mayor Marion Barry, who served time in jail, to serve on the city council after he was released from prison and then to WIN reelection as mayor? Corrupt slime, meet corrupt slime. They are all treading water in a cesspool, but are too stupid to realize it.
