The game down here is to see how high Publix can raise prices before people absolutely stop buying or lower themselves to go to Winn Dixie, the land of the depraved.....
Agree. At least in our area there is a big size Walmart and Aldi’s where you can beat many of the Publix prices. Publix knows when “ season” starts and jacks the prices up accordingly. Know you see it also with gas prices.....
Not sure of your area-but we here in upstate SC now have Lidl- a German store. They will have bonus days like a dozen eggs @ 27c, a fresh pineapple for 79 c. Loads of great meats and veges at incredible prices.Great wine/beer selections at inexpensive prices( mostly European ones). It is right across from the Aldi store, so competition is fierce. We never go to Publix anymore as their prices are just too high.
Exactly and for some reason the “experts” already know gas is headed for $3.00 by summer and then back down again in the fall,curious?
