“Naïve” is being far too kind.

There was no naivete among the Hussein/Jarrett/Brennan crew as to what they were doing with Iran.

This entire hoopla on this thread is simply a replay a the DACA hysteria here on FR.

Everyone forgets, or ignores the fact that we have a tough, skilled President who truly loves America.

The NORKS are a sock puppet of China...

...don’t make it harder than it is.

CNN, hoping that Trump's meeting with KJU will fail, pretends Trump is naive because he need to "embrace" TPP to make progress with NK:

It is possible to imagine a comprehensive US grand strategy that pressures China to play a more decisive role in helping denuclearize North Korea and offers North Korea a palatable alternative to nuclear weapons. This path would require thinking strategically, supporting and deploying America's combined diplomatic, economic and military power, embracing the Trans Pacific Partnership, working closely with allies and doing a host of other things the Trump administration has proven wholly incapable of doing.

US policy toward North Korea and Iran should be that for each atomic weapon they test, we launch a nuclear missile of the same tonnage at their capital city.

"Beware of pigs from above."

I'm a culturally affected child of the 70s.

"He’s doing this only to lessen the sanctions—nothing more—and even get stuff.. Keep them up and he will eventually collapse. Then, and only then might we have true, verifiable and inalterable disarmament."

Where does it say China re-started the trains?

Porous borders changed (a geographically more isolated) SK, which -- before the Armistice -- was a not-entirely-different kleptocracy compared to the cult of juche.

This is stated reluctantly, given Pyong Tang reduced to isotopic hot glass is the preferred solution.

Trump needs to get agreement from North Korea allowing the US military to DESTROY North Korea’s nuclear arsenal, centrifuges, missiles, and missile launch pad. Anything less, and Trump walks out.

This is all up to China. If they decide that a nuclear armed NK serves *them* well they’ll remain that way.If not, changes will occur.
