Wall Cox played Peepers. Cox was a weirdo and back in the '80s rumored to be Marlon Brando's homosexual lover. Totally believable. They were supposed to have been roommates.

Wally was a good guy, but it sounds like the pathologically selff-centered Marlon Brando had an unrequited love for him. Of the pair, Brando was the weirdo.
