We are running a $375,000,000,000 trade deficit with China.

We need to bring back manufacturing to America.

For real.

Isn’t this what President Trump is trying to do?

The feckless GOPe has so much campaign material to use against the Democrats for the fall elections its astounding.

Instead they prefer to self-immolate before they would get behind Trump.

This is a clear indication that the GOP’s allegiance is to K-Street and nobody else.

No, correctly put, it is violence vs civility! Eventually, civility changes to overwhelming revengeful violence!!

The administration has gained so much for its first 15 months in office it has literally reduced the opposing party to discussions of hookers, affairs, ten year old accusations, special counsel investigations, disgraced FBI directors, imaginary collusion, and even a literal conspiracy lawsuit for the election loss of 2016.

The question becomes “How long will this trend continue?”

The answer is likely “As long as it does… America wins!”

Leave it to you to come up with a negative angle despite so many Trump wins.

No matter how Korea plays out, Trump will not get any Peace Prize unless Kim gets one and Kim will be lionized as the mover and shaker that got it done.

Discussion of free trade is totaally misbegotten Free trade is beneficial and enriching to the society that practices it even if no others do if putative free trade country does n ot artificially raise the costs of the country's production with taxes and regulation. Take off all or almost all of that and the American worker and American industry can out compete any other nation's industry. twenty maylasians at a dollar an hour cannot produce what one American worker produces in one hour absent the tremendous government costs that America imposes on its economy.

Trump is paying attention to that number as well. I’m not criticizing Trump. I was very early on this site supporting him. Before he even announced his candidacy.

But that will be a big thing, soon. I believe.

We will act. The thing is, we will act (first) to try to resolve the issue with the Koreas.

I don’t know what will happen, but that is first. Probably next month.

Then we will later, see about the trade situation. America needs to bring back American manufacturing.

Big time.

I disagree.

The trade deficit is ruining America slowly.

We need badly, to do something to resolve this very large problem.

I agree Trump is looking at this problem.

It is very large.

He seems to be working up to doing something. Maybe 60 days from now, or so.

Trump would not get a nobel peace prize even if he got the North Koreans to get rid of their nukes, cured cancer and lifted the entire world out of the economic doldrums.

Obama got one for being in office for about 3 weeks. Literally. He hadn’t done anything else.

You seem to be adept at turning a lot of positive wins into a negative...

For real
