I saw this clip on Fox this morning. Petersin makes a lot of sense. Although the other panelists did acknowledge Peterson's point, on Fox and Friends this morning Peterson stated that they avoided the issue. That's because, IMHO, at the heart of it Trump is a proxy for the disdain those people have for a sizeable part of the peoplr of the United States

The Media Elite is very out of touch.

Peterson is well worth a listen.

So True....

“at the heart of it, Trump is a proxy for the disdain those people have for a sizeable part of the people of the United States.”

“If we can’t protect a false view of reality, we’ll lose credibility.”

This actually makes sense to the MSM-Democrats.

Wearing a Hillary Pin and having a Hillary bumper sticker does not increase your IQ to a genius level. Neither does a Trump pin or bumper sticker make you an imbecile. When you sulk about an election, and don’t move on, is it not a sign of immaturity? 2016, the year of the vintage whine!

Could there be anything with more gravitas and sincerity than a panel assembled by Bill Maher?

The interview was ruined by having an @sshole politician and two left wing media talking heads along with Peterson

Peterson was making fairy complex, logical points, and the others were simply spewing cliches.

This clip was both sad and infuriating to me. It makes it entirely clear that the left is brainwashed, hateful, and not open to reason. They spout groupthink phrases that are inflammatory and wrong, but do it with such confidence in their superiority and possession of the facts that they sound like they're citing mathematical proofs.

Maher calls Trump a wannabe dictator, when in reality it was Obama who used executive privilege like a dictator, and who uttered the phrases ‘we won’, and ‘Republicans can come along for the ride - but they're going to have to sit in the back of the bus’. They ignore Hillary having FBI files on political adversaries, threatening women who might derail her husbands political success - and thus hers, and all the other deceitful, unethical, and illegal escapades about which most here are aware.

It sickens me. In the end, this is driven by a narrative sold to people by the academic establishment in the US - which has been entirely co-opted. That narrative is that the groupthink that people are indoctrinated with under the guise of higher education is the only truth, and that those who don't ascribe to this groupthink are stupid, or uneducated, or bigoted, or ‘deplorables’. There is no room for those who don't embrace the groupthink, no room for those who would vote differently than the groupthink approves of, and definitely no room for those who speak with a different voice.

The Maher panel in that video exemplifies how the left lives in a separate, hermetically-sealed, propagandist universe.

Reality 101:
Leftists continue believing in their religious cult of Marxism...despite the history leftism always fails economically, moprally & culturally.

By Einstein’s definition, that is insane stupidity.

CONCLUSION: Leftists are insanely stupid.

Well I have tremendous respect for Jordan Peterson, but I thought he was rather weak when surrounded by all the leftists on the panel. He made absolutely no strong case to convert anyone’s thinking. Instead he probably strengthened their resolve that they are correct.

I am usually a big fan of his, but I thought he sounded pathetic and ill-informed and weaselly there.

Kind of like Ms. Twain, the Canadian idea is that you first have to insult and dismiss Trump as if he is an idiot and a clown before you have any US political cred.

Being gentle with the poor Trump fans who don’t know any better than to support an idiot and a clown is not IMO showing any respect for said fans at all—while he was claiming that they deserve some special sort of sympathy.

*they’re not taking this well… You might not think they’re very bright and all of that*

How has Peterson figured out that we are not taking it well and the rest of the media, et al ... have not. Looks to me THEY are the ones who are not very bright and all that!

I know brilliant people who voted for Trump. I know some who voted for Trump because: 1. the other choice was unthinkable. 2. They didn’t care what or who he was before 2016 and took a chance that he would keep his promises, since they knew the other party would not.
They still don’t care what he was or who he was before 2016 and they are pleased he is keeping his promises.. will vote for him again.
And most Christians don’t care what or who he was before 2016 and will vote for him again. (the left can’t figure that one out)

For the person who doesn’t like the way he talks... but he removed those obama restrictions that hindered growth and more jobs are available..
For the person who doesn’t like his hair.. . but he gave you a tax break and your pay check is for more each pay day.
For the person who doesn’t like him and can’t give a reason.. .. North Korea is at the table willing to talk for the first time in history and willing to give up their nuke ability, due to Trump’s no nonsense take.
Is it country or is it your personal feelings about a personality!!

And one more thing... that judge who was just on FOX.. (you spell his name)... what gives with him? I wish he would just stay home and not participate ... every time he talks, he gives no hope.

I was VERY disappointed in Peterson’s response or lack thereof to many of the comments from the panel. For example there was no real response to the female’s comment that Peterson thinks “the left tries too hard not to offend”. Is she psychotic? The left tries to be as offensive as possible at all times! They are incapable of civil discussion. They are addicted to hyperbolic, exaggerated and inflammatory comments. Peterson did not correct her and seemed to agree that Trump supporters were not too bright or educated. He also did not correct any of Maher’s slanderous comments about Trump. It was not the Jordan Peterson I have come to expect.

I’ve noticed that Peterson’s colleague, Camille Paglia, hasn’t been on Maher for years. Perhaps, he too, will wake up and realize it is a waste of time.
