During the Overtime segment on Real Time, the panel had a lengthy discussion about the political divisions in the country.
In reaction to Stormy Daniels lawyer Michael Avenatti dishing about his case against President Trump, professor and author Jordan B. Peterson kicked off the conversation by asking what would happen to the millions of people that support the president if the opposition got their way and had him impeached.
It looks to me, from an outsiders perspective, your country is polarizing in a way thats not good and that, you know, people are going after Trump and I understand that, Peterson elaborated, but theres all these people that elected him and identify with him and theyre not taking this well
You might not think theyre very bright and all of that
but you know, you need to have respect for the rest of your citizens and if your country is going to pull itself apart and as you really see this happening from an outsiders perspective.

Once a month or so I’ll watch something like this just to remind myself how utterly stupid these leftists are. They have zero ability to think rationally or empirically observe the world around them. Maher said Trump gave power companies the right to “dump their coal sludge in streams” — nothing of that sort has happened nor is it proposed. They speak in banalities and trivialities; they are incapable of critical thought or debate. Every time Peterson asked “what will happen to your country if you tear it apart” they would sputter and bluster “Trump is evil and undemocratic.” That woman on the panel was absolutely moronic and couldn’t get a coherent thought out.
The panelists are bad enough, but the audience is even worse.
Exactly right. The core issue of “a constitutional republic under the rule of law” vs “an oligarchy under the rule of men” needs to be brought up again and again.
At no point did any of these 'liberals' take a deep breath and attempt to ANSWER the question asked by Peterson...probably because they were incapable of hearing or understanding what was being asked.
That’s why these panels with liberals are so worthless. They just talk over each other. There is no debate, no reasoning, no dialog, no attempt to comprehend the other side.
This is why you don’t try to talk to them. You just run carbine drills with your friends as many times a week as you can.
You’re right - but what other options do we have? War? Is that’s what’s left?
A boy and a disgruntled veteran held Washington DC hostage for weeks. Now multiply that by 100,000.
Peterson seemed to concede to them the point that Trump is an embarrassing buffoon and so his followers are to be pitied and a way found to gently bring them to the light. Really, that’s what the panel shaped his comment into and he agreed with them. He looked ill-informed and weak.
I was very disappointed.
