“President Bush was admitted to the Houston Methodist Hospital yesterday
morning after contracting an infection that spread to his blood,” McGrath wrote
Monday. “He is responding to treatments and appears to be recovering. We
will issue additional updates as events warrant.”
Wonder if it was from a UTI? Glad to see he’s responding to treatment.
Blood infection? Sepsis, perhaps? I can definitely see the stress of the past days weakening his immunity to the point where infection would be a distinct possibility.
