His mistake is still believing that liberals want to solve this country’s problems. They don’t. The want to use these ongoing problems as a stepping stone to personal power.
When he realizes that truth, he will have become one of us.
He’s already on the path to becoming one of us because he’s willing to consider other viewpoints.
The only way to be lifelong liberal is to refrain from that.
