Oh, BS. The communist scum in the Labour Party simply don’t want to acknowledge anything patriotic, period. “Appealing to racists my a**”.

Winston Churchill would have had the man horsewhipped in the public road for such cowardice.

On a single day on the Somme,in 1916, 20,000 Britons perished. On another day,March 21, 1918 nearly 10,000 UK soldiers died as the British 4th and the undermanned 5th Army struggled to contain the biggest single infantry attack of WW1. A century later one of the two great political parties can’t utter their country’s name. What will another century bring?

Exactly. “Not wanting to appeal to racists” is the same excuse they reel out for not wanting to accept and deal with any one of a hundred failures of their policies. Whether that be the wave of knife crime by blacks in the country’s capital, the endemic rape of girls by muslim males, the housing shortage etc etc

The way England is going - such as jailing people because they try to fight off attackers, I’d be ashamed to say “England” too.

WPM-white people matter
All races matter. A person has white skin because of nature. Liberals are not smarter than nature.

Some points about this article:
- Corbyn is a communist. This is well known. An internationalist (Trotskyist) communist. his refusing to use the words England are exactly in line with what he has done and said for decades
- The rise of regionalism (Scottish nationalism, Welsh nationalism and now English nationalism) is the death knell for Labour. They were eliminated from Scotland thanks to the Scottish national party and their percentage in Wales is bad and in Northern Ireland non-existent. They still want to promote the "United" Kingdom, but don't know how
- The United Kingdom is close to dead. I personally think it won't last much longer past the Queen's death. There is a lot of affection for liz even north of the border, but little to none for Charles. When chuckles becomes king I expect the "LEAVE" vote in Scotland to increase well beyond 51%. Then Scotland would be out. Northern Ireland will probably head that way, due to Brexit. in the end just England and Wales as the Welsh don't have the money to go it alone.
The UK is dead - we're watching it on its final days.

This isn’t about “whiteness” of skin. The main bromide against the EU was the large numbers of white Poles, Romanians, lithuanians etc. coming in.

From 1984:
Everything had been different then. Even the names of countries, and their shapes on the map, had been different. Airstrip One, for instance, had not been so called in those days: it had been called England or Britain, though London, he felt fairly certain, had always been called London.

Well, if the UK divides, there’s nobody to stand against the EU over there. The so-called Scottish “nationalists” are socialists and want to be part of the EU.

The UK will divide. If the scots want to go to the EU, let them. Even amongst the English, about 49% want to stay in the EU, so its not that clear cut

In its general form no, but in the idea of a united Europe, YES
The EC kept Franco-German rivalry down to the economic side and avoided war amongst competing powers for nearly 60 years. That IS an achievement
The fact that Poland and Germany and also Romany and hungary can work together is a major achievement
The Euro seems like a mistake yet it also opened up internal trade heavily.
There are lots of places where the EU is wrong, but throwing out the baby with the bathwater is the wrong move
