Luck?
It snowed all day but not much accumulation. Winds were only 54 miles per hour. a couple days ago. It is not good when you get too much weather at once. 60s tomorrow. The snow should be gone by noon.
Record wind speed for Colorado is 147mph
Greetings to all at the Canteen!
To all our military men and women, past and present,
THANK YOU
for your service!
You got 6 out of 11
You'll have to do better if you want to earn a B+. But a C isn't so bad. Lucky for you, there is no F or D in "Welcome Back, Kotter."
HOLY COW! They weren’t kidding about the winds today, were they? I hope you have power at home and aren’t blocked from getting there by fallen trees.
A gal I grew up with moved to Eagle River several years ago. I hope all’s well at her place tonight.
Just took a peek at some of the cams and the sky’s really ugly by the mountains.
Hi, Sky! I see you’re still city-hopping! Hope it’s been some good-weather destinations! :)
Howdy, radu!
Thanks for taking the quiz. It looked like a hard one! Who pays attention to the credits. LOL!
Did the weather improve for you today? It looked way nicer at DH.
Howdy, PRO.
Hey, you only got one more right than I did and got an A and they gave me a C. Not fair! waaaaaah!!!
Did you make it back to the store to get the things you forgot yesterday? Or are you waiting til after work tomorrow? :-)
I reckon it would have been easier if one had watched those tv shows. LOL! I watched Bonanza and the Beverly Hillbillies. Had to guess at the rest.
It was cloudy most of the day, and cool, but the sun peeked out a few times late this afternoon. Now we’re getting rain showers on the back side of the low that will ... not ... move ... out ... of ... here.
How was your day? Good, I hope.
No hurry to go back to the store yet, next trip.
It was high '70's and I mowed today and played with the pups.
Not much else.
Howz the kitteh Klan doing?
Hey, blow the rain my way! “They” are predicting some, but ffffft....where have I heard THAT before! LOL!
My day was good. It got pretty hot, and I have lots of mosquito bites from my time outside in spite of wearing one of those repellant curly bracelets. grr!
Ah, good. You didn’t forget anything critical. Your luck’s better than mine. LOL!
Sounds like you had a good day. I envy you those wonderful temps. They SAY we’ll get to enjoy that kind of warmth next week.
How’s the lil wild man behaving these days? Is he finally calming down or is there still a lot of “puppy” in him?
The kittehs are doing ok for the moment. No vet trips the rest of the week at this point any way. LOL! Dexter will have the stitches removed from his ear next week and maybe that’ll be it for a while.
The ‘lil guy has mellowed a bit but still is very happy to see you when you arrive. And still needs the most attention.
I wish I COULD blow some of this rain your way! LOL! We’ve seen enough for a while and would enjoy some of your heat. Well, maybe not 90s just yet but upper 70s would be wonderful.
You need to get some Deep Woods spray to keep those skeeters at bay. That’s what Hubby uses when he’s outside this time of year. He only gets bitten when he forgets to spray himself with it and the he gets eaten alive.
I will do that now that I know these bracelets just don’t do the trick. I even have some Deep Woods Towelettes...not quite as messy.
It’s still 82 here. LOL! Tomorrow the high is supposed to be 58. Big roller coaster plunge!
Well, being happy to see folks is a dog thing any way and he’ll probably never get over that. LOL! At least he isn’t wearing you out like he did when he was little. That’s got to be a relief.
Those bracelets are a rip-off. You need to spray or wipe something on exposed skin to have it work. That Deep Woods is good stuff apparently. It works better than anything else Hubby has tried.
Not sure how I got so lucky but mosquitos don’t bother me other than buzz around my face and ears. They rarely bite.
Dang! Your weather’s crazier than ours! Tomorrow’s high is going to be a big difference!
We’ll have a small chance for rain showers with temps in the 60s once again. Just watched the weather report and they put small rain chances back in for Thurs. and Fri. The weekend looks to be awesome and we’re ready!
Evidentally you’re right. I itch all over. LOL! Who would have thought there’d even be any mosquitoes here due to the lack of rain! Sheeesh!
Great that your weekend looks good! I know you’re definitely ready to be able to get out of the house for a while! Have you heard whether they’ll need you at the museum this Saturday?
“Only” 54 MPH? Yikes! And snow?? Double yikes! This has been the craziest so-called spring ever!
I feel for you. Skeeter bites are no fun at all!
Do you have a bottle of ammonia? If so, dab some on the bites and that’ll help a lot in stopping the itch.
They were talking about the crummy weekend weather we’ve had this year so far during the weather report. We’ve had one day of wet weather 70% of the time, and both days wet 44%. This weekend will be dry both day with temps in the 70s. Its’ gonna be nice!
Haven’t heard anything about this weekend at the museum. Hubby’s cousin was here earlier, which is why I was late getting here, and we talked about it a little. He knows I’m not happy with the lack of consistency with being open. Not that he can do anything about it. He’s a volunteer, not someone who can make decisions.
You got 5 out of 11.

Not so good. LOL!
