Having worked most of the last three years over there around that silly Persian/Arabian Gulf, I just have to say the residents of those countries have a very high opinion of themselves....only issue is they need Western developed technology to flex their little muscles. Petro dollars talk though.....

Yes, Middle East politics are nasty. But Israel seeks to simply SURVIVE. The Muslims outnumber them, and have 99% more territory than they do. Iran and others have vowed to destroy them.
All the Muslims have to do is recognize Israel’s right to exist, and half of the issues would be over.

Meanwhile, our military has been diluted with pansies, freaks, and snowflakes. Our generals and admirals are more interested in social engineering and political correctness than they are in war-fighting and readiness. Our congress is commissioning giant catamarans and naval guns that we cannot afford to use because the rounds are too expensive.
We supply our aviators with planes that try to kill them in their cockpits. We sink insane amounts of money into gee-whiz fighters that we cannot afford to produce in meaningful numbers.
Meanwhile, our enemies sit back and laugh as they watch our armed forces implode.
So yes, this raghead's threats carry more weight than they would have in the days of Ronaldus Maximus. I would not be surprised if they tried something.

I think they got his quote wrong, he meant IRAN would be the one in a “catastrophic situation”. If they want to start the war, suffer the consequences, which is long over due.
