Fired FBI deputy director and discredited Democrat hack Andrew McCabe may soon be prosecuted for authorizing the leaking of sensitive information to the media and then lying over and over again to investigators about it, according to reports.
The news comes after House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence chairman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) told Fox News on Sunday that “there was no official intelligence that was used to start this investigation” of Trump’s aides. If Nunes is right, this means an official investigation was launched against a presidential campaign even though there was no official information supporting it. This is a naked abuse of power, the stuff of banana republics, something Trump defenders have been saying for some time.
McCabe’s is a tale of a slippery political operator manipulating the media for partisan purposes and then using the media to try to cover up his wrongdoing after the wrong candidate – Donald Trump – ended up winning the election. It is also about the shameless efforts of Democrats and their Deep State allies to rig the election, and when that failed, to sabotage and bring down the presidency of the candidate who despite their best efforts defeated Hillary Clinton.

Flipping McCabe should be so easy “[e]ven a prosecutor fresh out of law school ought to be able” to get him to testify against his former boss.
And it may be McCabe’s only way of staying out of prison."
If he turned on Lynch, Hillary, Brennan and Obama resulting in their convictions, I’d be willing to let him keep his pension with no jail time.

The list of people deserving jail time is much longer.
The fact that he raised a lot of money for his defense and
has reactivated his defense fund raising tells me he is going to fight,
not sing.

This is like an echo of Mueller's earlier career as head of the corrupt Boston FBI where that office kept 4 men if jail for a murder they did not commit. The FBI knew the men didn't commit the murder, but they were more interested in protecting an informant, who was the murderer and who then went on to murder more people.
I keep reading about what seem to be weak and simplistic charges such as lying and/or leaking while the big charges of Sedition, Treason, Conspiracy to Overthrow the Government are hardly ever mentioned. The lying and leaking were merely the modus operandi of sedition and treason. The penalties for lying and leaking must be small compared to the big charges. It seems to me the weak charges merely telegraph a wink and a nod to the deep state that their conduct will be tolerated.
Maybe some legal talent on FR could tell me if I’m wrong here.

That is indeed the sticking point.
Finding people who were not complicit in the Kenyanesian Usurpation and would be willing to expose all of its crimes is a herculean task.
Opposition to that is monumental as most of the people in the District of Corruption are complicit in the violation of the Constitution.

I agree with this premise. I have been following it closely, and the left has thrown McCabe to the wolves. He is on his own, and he knows it.
He is a scumbag of the highest order, but I suspect he is going to cooperate to get a better sentence.
And he is going to get a sentence, I have no doubt of that. So the number two person at the FBI going to a prison? Sure, he will probably go to one of those nice, white collar prisons. But maybe not.
And someone with a job history like him, and a face like that is going to have to choose...he will choose to sing.
How about ten years instead of 20, and he loses the deal if it’s found out he lied or is still withholding?
Every one of these disgusting people deserve to do long terms in prison.
