A second group concluded that the breakdown created a “chimney” that could allow radioactive fallout from the blast zone below to rise into the air.

Nice work, Chicom. Ready for radioactive blowback through the "chimney?"

Rumor was that when it collapsed, 200 of the NK nuclear scientists were killed in one fell swoop..................They have nothing left......................

North Korea’s nuclear test site has collapsed

Gee...I wonder how that happened?

There must be countless incredibly tragic stories behind this situation. I wonder how many will be told over the next fifty years or so.

The boy king who thinks life is a video game has done incredible damage and created an unbelievable level of heartache and long-term damage to his own kingdom and subjects because he thought they were a video game too.

I saw a graphic that said the fallout would be more towards South Korea and Japan.

OH, now it makes sense. Kim stopped the testing because he was worried about releasing fallout through that “chimney”. I head he is quite an environmentalist and would be deeply concerned about contamination escaping.
Also, North Korea is almost a flat plain with no other mountains they could shift over to.

Lol..ANYTHING rather than give Trump a little credit. Laughable.

That would be the 2nd or 3rd time in 12 years.

So Kim needs a couple years with reduced sanctions to rebuild his nuclear test site. Got it.

The NK little rocket man will not likely seek help from Japan about how to contain radiation contamination because the Fukushima swamped nuclear power plant is still leaking massive amounts of radiation. Massive amounts of water are being poured 24/7 onto the nuclear rods to keep them from exploding. All of the radioactive contaminated water is draining directly in to the Pacific Ocean. Now a high percentage of Fish/sea creatures being caught off the coast of North America have tumorous growths. Scientists claim a direct result of the ever increasing radiation levels of the ocean water. None of this info will be found on the MSM.

It'll be a bugger to fix any way you look at it. The sarcophagus over Chernobyl took 400,000 cubic meters of concrete and that's a much smaller area. It only lasted 10 years. The New Safe Confinement dome is an incredible piece of engineering but I don't think you could do that with a mountain.

That would explain Young-One being quickly summoned to China, and his quick change of heart concerning ‘peace’ in Korea. There is little left of his testing facilities and possibly of the required scientists.

While the Chicom government really doesn’t give a darn about their people, if radiation starts blowing in from their test bed, aka NorK, they don’t want that. The Chinese plan for domination, is planned over decades, not years. I’m sure they are prepared to wait out a conservative like Trump, in hopes of another socialist Dhimmicrat in a few years’ time.

The mountain’s collapse after a fifth blast last fall has led to the creation of a massive ‘chimney’ that could leak radioactive fallout into the air, researchers have found

I must admit it would be darkly hysterical if a significant portion of China were to be irradiated.

Years of aiding and abetting North Korea’s nuclear program comes back to bite ‘em in the arse.

Since all the basic information for this article comes from highly controlled Chicom sources, it looks like Little Kim really freaked the Chicom big brother out and big brother started pressuring him into making a deal.

A fifth-world country like North Korea is not competent to develop nuclear weapons, missiles, etc.

It was inevitable that something like this would happen!!

And it serves Little Kim right for not enabling the development of an economy and a country that would be a decent place for its citizens to live in!!!!

There is a pic somewhere on Pinterest that shows Kim Jong-un with the message “If you want to get rid of him, just leak that he has incriminating info on the Clintons”.
