To a lawyer I guess the word "yes" is just too fricken committal.

I assume so? Who answers that kind of a question like that? Only a weasel does.

Not quite.

The great paradox of politics is the twin inabilities:

1. Can’t use Yes or No as answers to direct questions.
2. No matter what, nobody accuses somebody of lying (Trump being the exception that proves this rule).
