I consider democrat food like kale to be froo froo
Kale is not food. It is fodder for farm animals. The reason it appears everywhere, masquerading as human food, is that the kale leaf stands up much better to temperature and transportation and storage than spinach. It is much less expensive to produce and market than something edible like spinach. Even turnip, mustard and collard greens are preferable to kale. Kale should be saved for the cows and hogs and Californians.
Kale was used for garden decorations when I lived in Virginia.
