Interesting that a Russian speaking Israeli Defense Minister is threatening the Russians IF the Russian threaten Israel. S-300 + S-400 intolerable for Israel...
The israelis can do what they want but they will go it alone. They are attacking a sovereign country that has Absolutely not attacked them. So good luck with that.
Laughable. One country enters another’s airspace without permission, and take offense that the airspace gets defended?
Putin is very smart, and a realist. He realizes Jerusalem cannot abide such weapons in an enemy state that has both invaded Israel and refused after all these years to even sign a damned peace treaty with her. Lieberman naturally hopes to avert difficulty with Putin... his statement today lays out the minimal acceptable defense position...”If any missiles are ever deployed against us” is a FAR cry from “we will immediately wipe out any missiles that may be brought into the range of fire”.........a far cry, indeed .. as direct as it sounds, it is a 50 percent compromise right off the starting block. Putin will recognize this immediately (and ... Moscow and Jerusalem continue their very close communications and coordination of activities in the region (including Syria). One thing is for sure, Jerusalem could knock out those missiles if it ever really became necessary...a situation that Lieberman is trying to avoid, head off... and a situation Putin doesn’t want either. Therefore, I think this will work out OK.
Why bother? Let the muzzies kill each other.
Without including the qualifer “if used against Israel” in the headline, it’s misleading. Even deceptive.
My last comment was directed at the article, not you.
Seems reasonable.
Without Assad, many more supposed refugees will flood Europe, in order to destroy it. Israel wants to depose Assad. Our interests do not align with Israel’s, IMO.
Gog and Magog.
According to some reports, the S-300s are already in Syria. They came by ship from Russia through the Aegean Sea and were unloaded under a literal smokescreen to prevent satellite observation or any other kind.
According to some, it is preferable for Israel to destroy them before they become operational.
The Syria government and its loyal constituents have maintained a posture of war against Israel since 1948. Assad has repeatedly threatened Israel and shown his desire to attack, when he thinks he can get away with it. Israel has the right to prevent Assad’s government from so much as having the ability to effectively attack Israel.
The West has gleefully become the airforce for those same vicious fanatics.
Our governments live in delusional bubbles.
Grumble and Growler may prove to be adequate deterrants. We shall see.
If they are worried about S-300s what does that say about S-400s?
Putin and his mullah allies will face retaliation if they continue to threaten Israel both from both us and from Jerusalem
Syria is not a sovereign country.
It’s a festering ulcer threatening the
entire Middle East and Europe with contagion
