This is a CLEAR ISSUE for Republicans to run on...if they have the balls to do so.
It’s not like abortion, where you’re balancing the rights of the mother versus the rights of the unborn child - with FGM, this is simply a child being MUTILATED...there is NO DEFENDING of it, and yes, it has gone on in this country.
And if a certain group ‘complains’ about it, so be it...they’ll be making fools of themselves.
Yes, Republicans should run on it. And you're also right: they'll be pilloried for it by 'rats who have perfected the art of arguing that any good is an evil and any evil is a good. They're proud of that ability. Gets them 'A's in law school. And two or three generations of the latest American voters will gobble that crap down like it's oatmeal, their brains having been turned to mush by their socialist primary and secondary school teachers.
