Cosby has already said it plans to appeal based on the judge allowing five other women to testify as to their allegations that he drugged and sexually assaulted them. Cosby's attorneys say the judge was wrong to allow that testimony and that it prejudiced the jury.
He could use the fact that his lawyer “supposedly” fell asleep for 30 minutes as an excuse for a new trial.
