Assuming your assumption is right, any job stationed in US is better than same jobs in India using internet to outsource. Because every job in US creates 3 to 4 times peripheral benefits to the local economy.

And also takes a job from a U.S. citizen.

You are assuming that. You have no evidence presented except conjecture.

So you would prefer the work be outsourced to India instead? If the job is on US soil, the employee pays federal, state & sales taxes. And buys food & housing & other retail items in American stores. That is a significant benefit to local economy.

This is so simple to understand, I am shocked the economics goes right over your head.
