Back in around 1975 was on a church backpacking trip with a two-day drive to the mountains. The youth leaders made it a requirement to learn the song by the time we got there. 40 plus years still know it.
Later on in college the sing-along-song was “God’s Own Drunk” sung by Jimmy Buffet.
And throughout all of those years, me and a buddy’s collaboration of a traveling song with verses added during each outing. My kids say I should publish it!
