This whole DNA thing is going to make a lot of criminals have sleepless nights, as they should.


It seems like he may have stopped committing these crimes once he knew about dna.

From what I read, his last murder was 1986, so DNA would not have been on his radar when he quit. It is unusual that someone like him would quit doing that, so I would not be surprised if he continued, but maybe with a different MO.

The effort was part of a painstaking process that began by using DNA from one of the crime scenes from years ago and comparing it to genetic profiles available online through various websites that cater to individuals wanting to know more about their family backgrounds by accepting DNA samples

Gotta read the fine print when you sign up for this stuff.

My older brother already had his done at Ancestry.com so I am very happy I don’t have a checkered past.
