“Protection money, racketeering, possible.”
A protection racket means they have to keep others from preying on the businesses they’re shaking down. Not because they’re a veritable font of benevolence, but because if everyone’s going after the people being shaken down, what’s to prevent these vics from simply liquidating, not paying or going to the cops? The average black thug is simply unable to conceive of something like organized crime. Blacks who are smart enough are worth their weight in gold - they’ve been vacuumed up into college and/or into legitimate jobs and businesses well beyond their competence levels.
