Given the ubiquity of surveillance cameras with HD footage captured to remote storage facilities over the internet, people who carry out violent crimes without taking this into account are simply not thinking. But most violent crimes are like that. The complicated ones you see on Law and Order might form 1% of what happens in real life. Not just types of crime. The demographics as well.
