Rep. Jim Jordan reminded us that during the Trump transition Sen. Chuck Schumer said that when President-elect Trump expressed concerned about leaks he had to "be careful b/c the intelligence community has six ways from Sunday at getting back at you."

Doesnt Schumer know? That is not how it works. It’s not not about "getting back at folks" you disagree with......the thing we’re forever seeing emanating from the Swamp.

More importantly, the overriding principle in a republic is that the machinery of govt, its agents and agencies, are NEVER to be used against American citizens.

If there are no punishments, it will escalate into a full scale war Deep State versus the People.

Just simply bypass Sessions. POTUS could strike a deal with Congress that the evidence they accumulated can be passed to a Special Prosecutor, and from thence to a grand jury for indictments.

Do we need special legislation? How ‘bout this: failure of DOJ to act on referrals for prosecution within 30 days results in automatic referral to another prosecutor. Would also propose new legislation on these lines: Failure of federal officials to hand over evidence within reasonable time (legislators put # of days here) results in loss of employment and mandatory jail time.
