The European Commission has proposed new measures to tackle disinformation and so-called fake news online, including an EU-wide code of practice on disinformation and support for an independent fact-checking network.
The IFCN was established by the U.S.-based Poynter Institute, which, according to its website is largely funded by various foundations including left-wing billionaire George Soross Open Society Foundations.
Several other fact-checking services, including the German Correctiv, have also been linked back to Soros and the Open Society Foundations.
The EU, as well as various individual countries within the bloc like Germany and Sweden, has put immense pressure on social media giants like Google and Facebook to tackle fake news and hate speech on their platforms.

I doubt there ARE any independent Soros-funded fact checkers. They’re probably all tyrant azzhats like him or he wouldn’t fund them.
God I wish that someone would put a stake through the heart of this bloodsucking POS
IFCN...?
LOL...!
Like putting manure in the washing machine to get your clothes fresh and clean.
I know..crazy isn’t it.....but people will by into it just the same and do! The left loves Soros.........and any on the right still have no clue his influence.
Soros has kiddies taking up his baton.........
Soros cash is busy in Irelands campaign for abortion on request...... they’re locked in a struggle to the death ahead of a May, 25, referendum vote on its pro-life 8th Amendment, which effectively bans abortion (except in cases where a pregnancy threatens the mothers life).
Leading the charge is Amnesty International Ireland ....Soros’s funded guru’s.
I’ll say....the creep and his sons have their fingers in everything!
No 2nd Amendment in Europe...now no 1st Amendment.
