Trump expressed his disappointment in the Justice Department during a Fox News interview in which he said Comey is “guilty of crimes” that could be uncovered “if we had a Justice Department that was doing their job.
When asked why he doesn’t push the department to do more, Trump say he’s staying out for now.
“Because of the fact that they have this witch hunt going on with people in the Justice Department that shouldn’t be there, they have a witch hunt against the president of the United States going on, I’ve taken the position, and I don’t have to take this position and maybe I’ll change, that I will not be involved with the Justice Department,” he said. “I will wait until this is over. It’s a total, it’s all lies and it’s a horrible thing that is going on, a horrible thing.”
Trump has repeatedly lashed out at Attorney General Jeff Sessions, who heads the department, for recusing himself from the Russia investigation. Trump has previously called on the department to target leakers, but no one has been prosecuted for leaks critical of the Trump administration.
“So very disappointed in my Justice Department,” Trump said. “Because of the fact it is going on, and I think you will understand this, I have decided I won’t be involved. I may change my mind at some point because what is going on is a disgrace. It is an absolute disgrace. By the way only collusion is with Democrats and Russians.”

He suggests that Rudy Guiliani knows everything that is on that Weiner laptop, and that was why he has been brought in to end this charade of an “investigation”.
You could be on to something. The local NYPD probably knows Rudy is a straight shooter, and a bulldog, so they have conveniently “ made available” what they know so he knows what “ MuleHead” won’t tell him....

How can Congress (Article 1) pass a law saying the Pres cannot fire someone who works for him in Article 2? If you believe in separation of powers that it seems like that would NOT stand up in court.
Ask my senator. He has all the answers.
Frankly I think that this is yet another schtick by the Democrats because they DESPERATELY want Trump to fire Mueller.
Anything they can do to keep it all going, they’ll try it.
While it probably wouldn’t stand up in a court of law, bear in mind that Trump would have to sign the thing. He refuses, as most normal people would, and the press will be screaming like hyenas.
It will make Stormy Daniels look like a picnic.

I doubt the proposed law is any different from existing DOJ regulations, and that firing is allowed but must be supported with cause.
In the highly unlikely event that Mueller is fired with or without cause, SCOTUS would weigh in, it did with the even worse Independent Counsel Act ... Morrison v. Olson, 487 U.S. 654 (1988)

Yeah, Rush was talking about the Trump interview on F&F and he said that various friends of his where telling him that Trump was “angry and unhinged” in that exchange.
But... He wasn’t.
Rush played it and asked the audience if the President sounded unhinged. He didn’t think so. But he did sound angry, but he has every right to be angry.
What we see here is Rush has some NEVER TRUMPER friends. He needs to be telling them to shut their pie holes!
Once again, I’m telling all political junkies to listen to Rush on Youtube!
You can listen to his complete broadcast—without commercials and station breaks—right on Youtube. A lot faster than the radio (when I can’t listen anyway) and in the convenience of my own time. If I have something to do, I can pause and come back later.
Do you notice the dichotomy between the Trump Bashers and the President lately?
It seems to me that the bashers have shot their load and are running out of ammunition, while Pres Trump continues on, not even breaking out a sweat, style smiling, still doing what he does...
The North Korean turn about is HUGE. So is the fact that everyone wants to talk about trade with the USA. Trade war? Pfffttt... Fair trade’s all he wants, as do we. He doesn’t give other countries much wiggle room because he only wants fair trade. What can they do except negotiate? There’s just so much winning on his side.
The Trump bashers, what are they winning? Stormy? Snort! nobody cares. Mueller? Let him try. Even Comey shot his own foot—much more than he unloaded on Trump.
I really see public opinion changing on Trump. The high-water mark of his haters, bashers and other tantrum-takers has come. And gone.
Look at Kanye West and what’s going on there! People’s eyes are starting to open and the scales are falling off. I sense a subtle change in the wind. I really do.
Wow! How much meat do you get out of that thing? Can you sell it, like in Tuna Wars?
That’s one big @$$ fish....barely fits on my screen.
