Why Trump didn’t go to this stupid performance. The media is not his friend. He doesn’t like to pretend to be laughing at something that is “funny.”
“Funny” seems to mean “enjoy the pain you inflict on someone else.”
F*ck these angry liberals.

Once again the lame stream leftist media revealed its face and once again it is the ugliest thing in the room, any room.

Americans by nature are not mean people and this despicable display will bomb just like a severed head covered in blood bombed.

For eight years, the WHCD lavished love on Barack Hussein.
A search “Nasty things said about Barack Obama at the White House Correspondents Dinner yields a trove of Hussein’s “wit” in which he lampoons his critics.

A stark, vulgar, hate filled public contrast of Washington elites and a true American Patriot in Washington, Michigan.

If there is anyone lurking out there who doubts the hard left bias of the so-called “news” media, compare the last nights vile vituperation with the full-frontal love fest in 2013

Instead of comics, why not interesting conservatives who can remind journalists of the importance of fairly reporting the news and protecting the first amendment.

The DNC should hire her to campaign with the candidates in 2018. Fox News should have her on every day until the campaign is over. We want her out their speaking unfiltered every day.

I would be surprised if Wolf could tell a joke without curse words, or sexual content. If she actually had to try to be funny, like Milton Berle, Buddy Hackett, or Phyllis Diller, Wolf would realize it was time to pursue another line of work. I also wonder how the Left would have reacted if a conservative comedian was the headliner and said similar things about Obama, his wife and assorted hangers-on? No doubt, they would be outraged.

Comedian Kathy Griffin, who has herself been embroiled in controversy over her past comments about the president, took up Wolf's defense and responded to Baker and other critics.

"Then don't have a comic do a roast," Griffin said on Twitter, "If you want to focus on the journalism do a boring awards show. Journalism is all about the 1st amendment..If you don't see the import of what @michelleisawolf did tonight then you don't get it."

I suggest that Griffin and Wolf spend a little time watching the Dean Martin Comedy Roast.

Comedy doesn’t have to be vulgar.

The most cutting insult can be rated G and get a laugh.

Probably the most skilled comic to date Tim Conway could have the audience and the cast of the Carol Burnett Show rolling in the isles with out ever using a single vulgar word.

Maybe these two women simply do not have the chops.

"Michelle Wolf — and the WHCD — really played into Trump's hand tonight. Trump is vulgar and mean-spirited, but that doesn't mean that Wolf needed to be the same," tweeted D.C. fixture and longtime political analyst Stuart.

Trump never initiates vulgarity or mean-spiritedness. In every case, he has responded in kind to liberal bullies. The tone could be cleaned up immensely if so-called journalists and other liberals would tell themselves they are taking the high ground and act professionally.

These days, comedy is rare. What usually passes for “comedy” is basically when liberals try to outdo each other by being more abrasive and abusive (towards conservatives/ordinary people) than anyone else. True comedians base comedy on quirks of human nature, and are funny in that they get people to see the quirks with a fresh perspective. Griffin’s threat to kill the President was incredibly unfunny, much the way morgues are unfunny. That she considered that behavior as comedy revealed a profoundly disturbed personality.

I am glad to see that a few reporters seem to be coming to the realization that the outlandish and biased behavior of so many members of their profession really does reduce people’s trust in the media. Perhaps they will even decide to go back to basic reporting at some point.

It’s a disgrace that clownish rothenberg compares President Trump to a gutter diving trollop.

I was thinking of the Dean Martin roasts myself. They’re so funny you can still watch them today. They’re hilarious.

The barbs were pretty strong, but they were good-natured. The person being roasted was usually laughing with everyone else.

While this was at times adult humor, it wasn’t vulgar. Curse words were nowhere to be found. Genitalia were left unaddressed. Imagine that, and somehow these folks were a laugh riot.

Today’s comedians wouldn’t know good humor if it stared them in the face.

Bob Hope, George Burns, Henny Youngman... many others, clever is funny. Vulgarity is a very poor substitute.

After a routine, you should feel uplifted, not like you just got run over by a manure spreader.
