Reliable sources outside this article indicate the SDF recaptured all 4 villages. There was bombing by the US forces during the recapture.

The SDF crossed the Euphrates River and occupied the 5 villages of Junaynah, Jayah, Shamrt Hossan, Huwayjat Maishyah and Shaqrah for a few hours.
Looks like 6 to 9 Kurds KIA in the counterattack that included Apache gunships.
The Kurds had just turned those towns over to local tribal militias.
Why are we helping a terrorist group sieze territory from a sovereign country?
So the Kurds are just mercenaries...looks like they’ll have to be put down.
The American people need to know more about the SDF forces that our government is supporting. Why are they any better than the Assad government? Who is leading them? Who is better for religious freedom? A why do we have to take sides?
