New York Times Editorial Board Begs Justice Kennedy Not to Retire

Remember all those times during the Barack Obama presidency when the New York Times begged Justice Anthony Kennedy to not retire from the Supreme Court? No? Well, that's probably because it never happened. However, now that Donald Trump is president, the Times is begging Kennedy, considered to be a swing vote, to remain on the High Court bench.

Their April 28 editorial page beseechments for Kennedy to forego retirement seems to have the tone of the great James Brown singing Please, Please, Please! at the 1964 Teenage Awards Music International Show in Santa Monica, CA which many believe to have been the greatest rock performance of all time.

Yes, Kennedy is immensely pleased with his role as a visible “swing vote.” It feeds his narcissism to have media whores hanging on his word, or even alert for subtle clues as to what he is thinking. His opinions are a well- spring of vague mediocrity, but let that pass.

Breyer, yep he is another candidate

Kennedy as well

With all of the stuff that DJT has on them the stress is gonna take it’s toll among other revelations yet to come

2018 will indeed be glorious, and although no one sees it quite yet the Midterms will be a real barn burner especially in regards to illegal voting of all kinds

Watch and see

They have the easiest jobon earth. Why retire? They work from October to June with tons of breaks in between. That said, I hope he goes this summer.
