My sister had CML about twenty years ago. When I first heard, my reaction was "how long does she have?". She went to the University of Washington hospital for treatment. Praise the Lord, she is still alive, with no signs of cancer.

It is not the death sentence it used to be. Not all are as curable as she was, but there is hope.

The greatest advances in medical science have not come from Cuba or Russia or Venezuela. Socialized medicine does not pay for this sort of research. Yet, this research does treat patients where herbs and goat horns, finely ground, were recently the state of the art.
