The Taqsis base is built inside a mountain, bunker-busters would have had to be used. IIRC, Israel has purchased at least 500 GBU-57 bunker Massive Ordinance Penetrators from us.

Do not believe you recall correctly (Send source if you have one) and while I would personally want to give the Israelis 500 of these 30,000 pound bombs, they do not have a bomber to carry one. They have C-130s but they would be highly un-stealthy and really bright targets for Syrian/Iranian.Russian SAMs.
