That was lame. In the real world, adults call the shots.
Girls and boys will be herded together from birth to death. Instead of growing into full fledged human men and women they will wither into androgynous drones.
If the state needs more proles to fight useless battles or keep up production and the androgynous drones are too busy being mindless consumers, then they'll just grow them in artificial wombs.
And with our ever-increasing knowledge of genetics, we can manufacture just the right number and kinds of humans to fill in the employment slots.

The Boy Scouts is being turned over to queers too. Having girls in the mix adds to the problem.
Girls have no business being with boys in Cub Scouts or Boy Scouts boys need an environment where they can learn to be men in the presence of other boys and act like boys boys do not act like boys when girls/females are present.
If you read that sentence enough times, you just might get it...
The Jaycees used to be a men only organization. For decades they had a sister organization called the Jayceettes. This worked wonderfully for decades as the Jaycees grew and performed amazing feats like putting on national golf tournaments, aiding in natural catastrophes, etc.
Then the feminists decided that it was wrong. The Jaycees went coed. I was a member and it was fun and we did some things on a much smaller scale: bingo fundraisers, Christmas tree sales, etc.
When I joined the membership had plunged. Instead of more women joining, both men and women left in droves.
Being a Jaycee was now just like going to work or working on a political campaign or working for a charity. Why become a Jaycee?
This happened to lots of other organizations as well. Men tend to like things that most other men tend to like. Women like different sorts of things. Organizations that provided opportunities for men to meet together to plan and organize charitable events were great. Sister organizations that worked alongside the men to help out at the events were also great.
Regardless of what you have seen with your old eyes, I can assure you that what you will see if girls are fully integrated into the Cub Scouts is that membership will completely tank. Boys and girls will get their entertainment and training from school activities and/or organized sporting clubs. There will be no need to join the Cub Scouts as it will no longer provide anything that can't be learned somewhere else.
And if the only thing that the Cub Scouts taught that was different was hiking and camping, then that's not gonna be a really big draw for an increasingly urbanized population.

Three different Scout Troops, in Georgia, Alabama and Virginia, plus one Explorer Post and neither my Sister nor my Mother never attended one event whatsoever. Just as I never went to a Girl Scout event. Furthermore, I don't remember any of our Scout Troop or Post having their mother's there.
There is one scene I remember well. I can’t post it though.

It is a sad commentary on the state of feminism that they have to try to co-op the organization established for little boys.

I’ve had girls in my Pack for a decade.
They arrive with their brothers. What are you going to do with them?
Turns out, Scoutcraft appeals to everybody. So, we put an adult in charge and we had a den of 5 and under, and a den of girls.
They were allowed to stay, and allowed to work on all badges upto and including Arrow of Light.
Two earned it.
Scout Troops won’t be integrated. They are COMPLETELY separate. We did not allow girls into Troops. Chaos.
We have a Ship and a Crew, and they are integrated. They seem to run pretty well, but they are well-regulated.
We had a great time, and I do think the boys envied us. Things have changed a lot and I have to admit that I have been very disappointed with some of the causes taken up on behalf of the Girl Scouts.
