WASHINGTON (WMAL) – Boy Scout history will be made this weekend at Nationals Park. Saturday for the first time ever an all-girl Cub Scout den will lead the flag ceremony at the start of a Major League Baseball game.
Since Saturday will be a first in the history of baseball, all media coverage will go to the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York.
The Nationals take on the Diamondbacks Saturday at 4:05 p.m.

Because I don’t expect a half dozen 10 year old girls to overthrow a billion dollar organization.
Instead, they should join an already existing organization, and at this moment it is the Boy Scouts.
Why deny girls with such motivation to be part of the Boy Scouts?
The girl scouts is run by man hating feminist militant socialist lesbians now. They are lame.

Not true. Girls who can hang with the boys and are not little craft making prissies are cool.
We used to do so many things with the girls, but of course we did have a lot of parent participation which made a big difference.
We went camping, trips to museums, pajama parties, we went to a Broadway play, Old Bethpage (restoration village), and they always seemed to have a good time.
Of course this was a very long time ago and I am sure many things have changed!

I hope, instead, that you are a woman or a young man, and mistaken.
Girls can join, but they must be in their own troop.

Because you screw it up and ruin it for the boys... the ones it was created for.
I did stop buying their cookies when they became pro-abortion. The biggest problem I have with girls becoming cub scouts is that boy’s are not allowed to have anything that is just for them.
Girls are allowed to boy-less Girl Scouts and now they can have Cub scouts too.
As a girl, I wanted to camp and hike, not sell cookies.
Why prohibit girls from the same goals.
It’s not the girls fault that the Girls Scouts are horrible.
Boys have always thought that. It’s nothing new. Girls who can hang are cool.
Let me know when an all boys Girl Scout troop leads the Flag Ceremony. Though I suspect it would be at AT&T Park in SF, just to be appropriate...
The Illogic keeps on coming. So we now see that the Cub Scouts are now forced to admit females and now they have an all girl Cub Den. Now what about the Girl Scouts, they already have all female dens??????????
So will boys be allowed to join the Girl Scouts? Fair is fair.

Exactly! My boy’s troop is going to be voting on this. Some parents have expressed an interest in this but I am a firm NO. It will completely change the dynamics of the camp outs, basically turning into high school. This is complete “progressive” B.S.
